Trained as an electrical engineer, Lawrence Schuette is director of innovation at the Office of Naval Research. He works to identify new strategies, technologies, and materials to enable the Navy to increase its efficiency in all areas, recognizing that power of innovation is often about the incremental significance of attention to details.
